Goa Police's helpline to address complaints of corruption against policemen has not received a single call since its inception three months ago, a senior police officer said.
The helpline was launched following complaints of citizens over alleged rampant corruption in Goa's police department.
Senior police officials had also assured regarding the service that names of complainants would be withheld.

"As there have been no complaints, it means corruption in the force has gone down or there is no corruption," he said.
Meanwhile, Garg said that the department has taken up an initiative of providing canteen facility to policemen and their families on lines with similar facility provided in the armed forces.
"Commodities ranging from four-wheelers to grocery items, many products will be available to policemen at nominal prices. They will get it (products) with 30 per cent subsidy," Garg said, adding, the service will start within a month.
