The ongoing Goa State Film Festival here today took a break on the occasion of Good Friday, after some legislators had objected to the schedule which coincides with the 'Holy Week' of Christians.
Entertainment Society of Goa (ESG) Chairman Damodar Naik said all the screenings scheduled for today had been deferred.
"The organisers have decided not to screen films on April 3 which is Good Friday and screening of films has now been rescheduled for the next two days, that is April 4 and 5," a notice at the festival venue says.
