After Shankaracharya of Dwarka- Sharda Peeth Swami Swaroopanand Saraswati raked up a controversy by opposing the worship of Sai Baba, RSS today contended that Hindu philosophy says there is God in every human being and hence also in Sai Baba.

RSS' All India General Secretary Bhayyaji Joshi told reporters here that "we (RSS) don't feel there should be any debate on this matter (if Sai Baba should be worshipped)".

"It's like this, we believe there is God in every human being and there is also God in Sai Baba. Har Prani me Ishwar ansh hain (God is in every living thing) and we have been saying this (since long). It's a Hindu philosophy," he said.

"Isliye pranimatra me ishwar aur Sai Babaji Ishwar---so God in every human being and hence in Sai Babaji)," he said on the concluding day of the three-day All India Executive Council Meetings of RSS.

"Now it is up to his (Sai Baba's) devotees to believe and worship Sai Baba (the 19th century saint of Shirdi,) as God and construct temples in Sai Baba's name. And we don't feel there should be any debate on this matter," Joshi said.
