Cigarette maker Godfrey Phillips India today reported an over three-fold jump in its standalone net profit at Rs 38.44 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2016.
The company had reported a net profit of Rs 12.50 crore in October-December quarter a year ago, Godfrey Phillips said in a BSE filing.
Its total income from operations was up 11.03 per cent to Rs 1,090.65 crore during the quarter under review as against Rs 982.22 crore for the corresponding period a year ago.

Its revenue from cigarettes and tobacco products was up 11.82 per cent to Rs 999.35 crore as against Rs 893.69 core, while tea and other retail products was up 3.12 per cent to Rs 91.30 crore as against Rs 88.53 crore.
Shares of Godfrey Phillips today settled at Rs 1,039.95 on BSE, up 1.82 per cent from previous close.
