Shares of Godrej Properties (GPL) today rose over 3 per cent after the realty firm reported over two-fold jump in consolidated net profit for the March quarter, 2017-18.
The stock gained 3.01 per cent to close at Rs 808.90 on BSE. Intra-day, it surged 4.29 per cent to Rs 819.
At NSE, shares of the company rose 3.11 per cent to end at Rs 809.90.
Godrej Properties today reported over two-fold jump in consolidated net profit at Rs 141.51 crore for fourth quarter of 2017-18, and highest-ever annual sales bookings at Rs 5,083 crore.
The company's net profit stood at Rs 62.59 crore in the year-ago period, it said in a filing to BSE.
Total income also rose sharply by 84 per cent to Rs 848.56 crore from Rs 462.25 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year.
