Growing religious radicalism is a grave threat to peace and harmony, Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi said condemning the terror attack in a Peshawar school in Pakistan today.
Terming the growth of religious radicalism as being against the spirit of humanity, Gogoi tweeted, "We must all join hands together against such forces and unitedly fight against this menace."
A release from the CMO said Gogoi also tweeted that the Peshawar incident was 'a heinous and dastardly crime' that not only disturbed peace and harmony but was against the spirit of humanity.
At least 84 students were among more than 100 people killed today when heavily-armed Taliban militants stormed an army-run school in Pakistan's volatile Peshawar city and opened fire on them.
