Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi today urged the National Rural Health Mission to take measures to prevent spread of Japanese Encephalitis
An official release said that Gogoi asked the NRHM Managing Director (In-Charge of Assam) Gautam Ganguly for a vaccination drive to check the disease across various districts of the state.
The chief minister directed Ganguly to gear up to contain the outbreak of Japanese Encephalitis and to supply sufficient stock of vaccines and medicine to the public health centres, community health centres and hospitals across the state.
