Customs officials today seized gold bars worth Rs 11 lakh from a passenger at the Rajiv Gandhi International Airport here.
Officers of Customs Air Intelligence Unit intercepted Shaik Chan Basha of Proddutur who arrived from Jeddah by an Air India flight after they found his demeanour suspicious.
They recovered four gold bars weighing 0.387 kg in total from his possession.
