Ten kg gold was today seized at the Karippur International Aiport here, officials of Directorate of Revenue Intelligence said.
Two persons who are suspected to have brought the gold by an early morning flight from Dubai have been taken into custody for interrogation, officials said.
The gold, in the form of biscuits of one kg each, was recovered from a toilet close to the airport's Immigration counter.
