Five gold biscuits valuing Rs 16.37 lakh were seized from a passenger today, who arrived here from Dubai.
Customs officials seized gold weighing 583 grams, from the passenger hailing from Thalassery in Kannur district, a customs release said.
The passenger, who arrived here at 3 AM, was found to have concealed three gold biscuits in one shoe and two in another shoe, they said.
