Two bike-borne youths snatched the gold chain of a 40-year-old woman near the office of Senior Superintendent of Police in Raj Nagar area here this evening.
The chain snatchers attacked P Ravika, a resident of Raj Nagar area, when she was on way to her house, according to police.
"The woman was talking on phone when the two unidentified bike-borne youths snatched her chain and fled from the spot," said a police officer.
The incident occurred near the SSP office, where several policemen are usually deployed for security, sources said.
