Gold weighing around 1.6 kg was found lying unclaimed in a plastic bag at the new terminal building of the N S C Bose International Airport here, Airport sources said today.
A cleaning staff Alauddin Biswas while sweeping the new terminal building last evening found an unclaimed plastic bag, sources said.
Biswas on opening the bag found gold and immediately handed it over to the CISF staff, they said.
The CISF subsequently handed it over to the Customs authorities.
