Press Trust of India New Delhi
Gold prices fell by Rs 110 to Rs 26,931 per 10 grams in futures trade today as the metal posted losses in global markets.

The contract of metal for delivery in February declined by Rs 110, or 0.44%, to Rs 26,931 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 1,437 lots at the Multi Commodity Exchange.

The April contract lost Rs 90, or 0.33%, to Rs 27,196 per 10 grams in three lots.

Analysts said fall in gold futures was mostly due to a weakening trend in global market. In Singapore, the metal traded lower at $1,200 an ounce.
