A passenger of the Dubai-Calicut Air India flight was arrested and gold valued at Rs 27 lakh was seized from his possession by the Air Customs Intelligence at nearby Karippur International Airport today.
The gold, in the form of a sheet, was hidden in the bed sheet of the passenger, identified as Abhilash of Kozhikode, customs officials said.
