Customs officials seized 400 gm of gold and 390 gm of silver from a man as he got down from a Thai Airways flight at the N S C B International airport today.
A senior airport customs official said the man, identified as Samir Ahmed, was however allowed to go after grilling by the officials.
Ahmed had arrived from Bangkok.
The seized gold and silver were valued as Rs 10.50 lakh in international market.
