Air Intelligence officials today seized 1.140 kg of gold valued at Rs 25 lakh from two passengers who arrived from Dubai here.
They have been detained, officials said.
The two hailing from Kerala had smuggled-in the gold which had been converted into thin sheets and concealed in dress materials, officials said.
The duo had arrived by an Air Asia flight, they added.
