Nearly one kg of gold worth Rs 30 lakh was seized from a private aircraft here today.
According to airport officials, the cleaning staff stumbled upon 950 grams of gold kept concealed in the seat of the Indigo flight that arrived from Dubai here this morning.
A passenger was suspected to have left the gold, officials said, adding, a probe is on into the matter.
This is the second incident of seizure of gold from passenger aircraft at the airport here since yesterday.
