A 35 year-old air passenger who arrived from Jeddah today was arrested for allegedly smuggling Rs 85 lakh worth gold, DRI officials said.
Nizamudeen of Kerala was found concealing two kg of gold biscuits in his body by the officials of Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, they said, adding, he had arrived from Jeddah by a private airliner.
