Goods train derails in WB

A goods train derailed

tonight near Andul station in Howrah-Kharagpur division of South-Eastern Railway (SER).

There was no report of any injury or casualty in the mishap, an SER spokesman said.

The engine and two wagons of the train, laden with coal, jumped off the tracks in the goods yard, the spokesman said, adding that the mishap did not affect train movement.

The railways has launched an internal probe into the whole incident, the official said.
