Google proposes to help UP Police in increasing reach of apps

Google has proposed to support the Uttar Pradesh Police in increasing the reach of various applications launched by it, a senior police official said.

"Impressed with our Twitter Sewa, e-FIR, verification, UP-100 and other services, Google India has proposed to support us to ensure their reach to common man," PRO, Director General of Police (DGP), Rahul Srivastav said here.

Srivastava had yesterday met Google officials in Gurgaon and they will soon give their presentations to the DGP and senior police officials.
