Tech giant Google today unveiled the second generation of its Pixel smartphone - Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL - which will be available in India from November 15 priced at Rs 61,000 onwards.
The devices, which will compete in the premium segment with devices like Apple's iPhone 8 and X as well as Samsung's Note 8, will be available in five other markets including the US, the UK and Australia.
Google said that with Pixel, it has "created the worlds best smartphone camera".

During the launch event, Google also demonstrated Google Lens a new set of visual features that builds on Googles advancements in computer vision and machine learning.
Apart from looking up landmarks, books and music albums among others from Google Photos on the Pixel handset, users will also be able to take actions like asking Google Lens to copy URLs and contact information from a picture of a poster or business card.
"The company is bringing an early preview of Google Lens to Pixel, so you can try it before anyone else," Google said.
Pixel 2 features a 5-inch display, while Pixel 2 XL has a six-inch display.
In India, the 64GB version of Pixel 2 will be priced at Rs 61,000, while 128GB variant will be available for Rs 70,000. The 64GB version of Pixel 2 XL is priced at Rs 73,000 and the 128GB will be available for Rs 82,000.
Pre-orders will commence on October 26 and will be on sale from November 1 (Pixel 2) and November 15 (Pixel 2 XL) in over 1,000 stores across the country. It will be available online on e-commerce platform, Flipkart.
