Six persons were today injured in a clash between two groups over the cutting a tree, police said.
SP (North) Ganesh Saha said of these six injured persons two received gunshot wounds when a group opened fire at Motiram Adda locality under Jhangha police station area.
Those injured in the firing were undergoing treatment at the BRD medical college, while the rest were admitted in the district hospital, he said.
Police has detained 12 people in this connection, the official said.
