The Jammu & Kashmir government has started an 'Ease to do Business' mission to attract investment in the state.
"In order to make various processes and procedures simple and hassle free in the Industries Department, a blue print for various steps to be adopted for, 'Ease to do Business' in Jammu and Kashmir was put forth today," Financial Commissioner Khurshid Ahmed Ganai said.
He said that the industries have to play a pivotal role in the economic development of the state.

Ganai stressed on switching over to web-enabled services for making systems swift, time bound, transparent and hassle- free.
The Financial Commissioner directed the state pollution control board (SPCB) to review the time period for issuing consent to operate (CTO) and consent to establish (CTE), preferably within a month's time.
He asked for linking of various related departments with the National e-Biz portal. All the departments corporations have been asked to come up with their websites.
Abdul Rashid, Director, Industries and Commerce, Jammu said that under the 'Ease to do Business' various measures have been suggested in Industries Department for providing an enabling environment to the entrepreneurs.
"Various measures suggested include making single window system more vibrant, providing online services to entrepreneurs, integration of various clearances required to set up the enterprise and skill up gradation of staff employed at the cutting edge level," Rashid said.
