Former Delhi Chief Minister and Kerala Governor designate Sheila Dixit was accorded a reception on her arrival at the airport today.
Chief Minister Oommen Chandy, his wife Mariyamma Oommen, Speaker G Karthikeyan, Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala and senior government officials welcomed her.
The 75-year-old Dikshit will be sworn in as Governor tomorrow.
She succeeds Nikhil Kumar, who resigned to contest Lok Sabha polls in his home state Bihar.
