Uttarakhand Governor K K Paul will visit Kedarnath and adjoining areas tomorrow to assess preparations for the chardham yatra scheduled to begin next month.
The Governor will go to Kedarnath and will also visit Linchauli and Sonprayag en route to the Himalayan shrine tomorrow to review preparations for the Char Dham yatra beginning on May 5 and also preparedness to deal with natural calamities, an official release here said.
Paul will be accompanied by his secretary and Rudraprayag District Magistrate Raghav Langar.
The annual chardham yatra named after the four Himalayan temples of Kedarnath, Badrinath, Gangotri and Yamunotri draws lakhs of devotees from across the country and abroad.
