RSS ideologue K N Govindacharya today hailed the AAP government's decision to revoke FDI in multi-brand retail in Delhi, saying several organisations have been demanding the move for long.
"It is a good step," Govidacharya told PTI here while appreciating AAP for revoking the previous government's decision to allow FDI in multi-brand retail in Delhi.
"AAP formation is intended to bring the prevailing corrupt political system of the country back on track with focus on issue and value-based politics," Govindacharya said, advising Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to be patient to face challenges.

Accusing the Union government of indulging in cheap politics over the issue, Govindacharya cautioned Kejriwal not to fall prey to the Congress trap and be responsible towards the general masses.
A former BJP leader, Govindacharya claimed that the money and muscle power had influenced Indian politics since Independence, and it was aimed at grabbing power.
Stating that there was hardly any difference among political parties, he observed that the recent movements launched by some organisations and individuals like Anna Hazare and Yoga guru Ramdev in the last few years had taken up genuine issues including Right to Information, black money, Lokpal bill, NOTA (None of the above option in EVM) and reforms in electoral system.
Referring to the Jammu and Kashmir issue, Govindacharya said the state is an integral part of India and it should not be made a political issue.
"We must ensure that J&K does not become a political issue and should avoid issuing any irresponsible statement, particularly on Article 370 and Pak-occupied Kashmir," he said.
About AAP leader Prashant Bhusan's demand for referendum on the Jammu and Kashmir issue, Govindacharya said he should be cautious while issuing statements on such issues, including removal of Army.
Such statements would only help Pakistan or other forces to misuse the situation, he said.
