Govindaraj appointed Puducherry Govt Pleader

The Puducherry government has appointed M Govindaraj as Government Pleader for the union territory in place of T Murugesan who passed away.

Earlier, Govindraj functioned as Additional Government Pleader, Puducherry, and was also Standing Counsel for the Corporation of Chennai. He is also the counsel for BSNL.

The Puducherry government, in an order today, said Govindaraj was being appointed as GP.

Govindaraj who enrolled as an advocate on November 30, 1988, has 27 years experience in different fields of law.
