Government has approved the implementation of National Mission on Agricultural Extension and Technology with an outlay of over Rs 13,000 crore for the 12th Plan period (2012-17).
The proposal was approved by the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs.
"The Mission will have a total outlay of Rs 13,073.08 crore, with Government of India's share of Rs 11,390.68 crore and state share of Rs 1,682.40 crore," an official statement said today.

The CCEA approved another proposal for modifications in the Mega Food Park Scheme guidelines of infrastructure development for food processing.
"These modifications are envisaged to streamline the implementation of the scheme while retaining its basic nature," an another official statement added.
