Govt approves Odisha Central Research Institute of Yoga and

The setting up of a Central Research Institute of Yoga and Naturopathy (CCRYN) in Odisha has been approved by the government and funds are released for initial construction work, the Rajya Sabha was informed today.

"The central government has approved setting up of a CCRYN at Bhubaneswar in Odisha," Minister of State for Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy (AYUSH) Shripad Yesso Naik said in a written reply.

Land has been obtained from Odisha government and registered in the name of CCRYN, he said adding, the funds have been released to central public works department for construction of boundary wall and walking track etc.
