Govt approves site for modern group housing colony in Jammu

The Jammu and Kashmir government today approved the site for construction of a residential complex under the modern group housing colony in Jammu's posh Gandhi Nagar area.

Urban Development and Urban Local Bodies Minister Nawang Rigzin Jora today approved the site for construction of a modern Group Housing Colony (residential flats) on eight kanals of land.

The minister accompanied by Housing and Urban Development secretary Satish Nehru and the Jammu Development Authority vice chairman visited the site for the proposed housing colony and gave his nod to initiate construction work. There will be provision of about 425 flats for Higher Income Group and Economically Weaker Sections of the society.
