Tamil Nadu government had nothing to talk about its achievements and hence was unnecessarily blaming the opposition parties to divert attention of the people, DMK Rajya Sabha MP Kanimozhi alleged today.
It was unnecessary and improper on the part of the government to accuse opposition parties at government functions and this was only to "hide its non-performance and lack of development," she told reporters here.
On the spread of dengue in the state, she accused the government of hiding the real situation, as it had failed to take concrete measures to prevent spread of the disease.

Besides, the absence of elected civic bodies was another major reason for its spread, the DMK MP added.
