Government has invited applications for filling up 93 posts of the proposed National Companies Law Tribunal.
NCLT, being set up under the Companies Act, 2013, would replace the Company Law Board (CLB).
In an office memorandum dated February 1, the Corporate Affairs Ministry has sought applications for various posts like Court Officer, Deputy Registrar, Assistant Registrar, Accounts Officer, among others to be appointed in the NCLT.
Candidates to the posts will be appointed for three years on a deputation basis, as per the memorandum.
The memo further said that the selected candidates will be required to serve in NCLT benches to be established at Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, among other cities.
Besides, the government has also invited applications for 16 posts of the proposed National Company Law Appellate Tribunal, (NCLAT).
In a separate office memorandum, applications are invited for the posts of Deputy Registrar, Court Officer, Private Secretary, among others to be appointed at the NCLAT in Delhi.
The Companies Act, 2013, provides for setting up the NCLT and NCLAT.
The ministry has already made a series of changes to the Companies Act, 2013, most provisions of which came into effect from April 1, 2014. Besides, various rules have been amended.
NCLT would also have Secretary, Registrar and President besides other judicial and technical members.
