Bracing up for summer, Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal today asked legislators to take note of problems related to water shortage in their constituencies so that the government can prepare a concrete plan to deal with the situation.

He also asked the three BJP MLAs to come up with their grievances related to water shortage in their respective constituencies.

"Summers are approaching and scarcity of water is a big issue during the season. I request members (MLAs) of all parties to give us the feedbacks. You will come across three types of problems. One, there will be areas which gets piped water, but gets it for a lesser time. Second will the complaint that despite having a piped connection, the water quality is poor.

"Third will be the area which does not have water connection and gets water through tankers. So, you give specific complaints related to the areas in your constituencies that face water problems. We can accordingly prepare a summer plan so that the people don't suffer," Kejriwal said.

He has asked the legislators to submit the list of problems in next 8-10 days.
