Govt school principal caught taking bribe in Udaipur

A government school principal was caught taking bribe of Rs 15,000 in Rajasthan's Udaipur district Wednesday, an Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) official said.

The accused Dilip Jain (53) posted at a senior secondary school in Kanuwada of Udaipur had demanded Rs 15,000 to release security deposit of Rs 4 lakh for construction works, ACB DSP Rajiv Joshi said.

The accused was arrested and booked under sections of Prevention of Corruption Act, the official said, adding that further investigation is on.
