Govt schools in MP to soon have virtual classes: Chouhan

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today said here that all government schools in the state would have virtual classes facility shortly.

"Initially, 2,000 schools would get virtual classes facility and the rest would have it very soon," Chouhan said, while holding a dialogue with 16,000 students from 400 centres through video-conferencing as part of the Digital India Week being observed at the Mantralaya.

It is imperative to keep pace with information technology since this sector has immense possibilities, the chief minister said.

He urged students to excel in their respective academic fields, adding that infotech giants like Infosys and TCS companies have already come to the state to employ several youth. Besides, Bhopal and Jabalpur will soon have electronic manufacturing clusters creating huge employment opportunities, he said.
 

The MP CM interacted with nine students from Dindori, Anuppur, Vidisha, Khurai, Mandla, Sheopur, Thikri.
