Govt schoolteacher suspended from election duty

A government schoolteacher has been suspended from election duty for being absent from work without prior information, officials said here today.

Muhabbat Ali was suspended yesterday by district election officer and collector Arti Dogra for being absent from poll duty without giving prior information.

The collector also served notice to another teacher, Shobha Soni, for dereliction of duty.
