A Congress Parliamentarian today demanded the BJP-led NDA government respond to the Nagrota attack in the "language people across the border understand" and asked it to train "patriotic" RSS men to help do the job.

"The Nagrota attack is the third killer attack on our soldiers from across the border in recent past. The surgical strike happened once, but it had no impact on Pakistan.

"How can we ensure impact? Use the same method it uses (against India) and there will be impact," Rajya Sabha member Hussain Dalwai said in Parliament premises.

Taking a dig at the RSS, Dalwai said the current situation along LoC offers a "big opportunity" for it to display patriotism and asked the government to train "patriotic" RSS men and send them across the border to fight against Pakistan.

"The RSS people talk about patriotism. Why doesn't the government bring such patriotic RSS men together, train and send them across the border to fight (against enemies)? During British era, the RSS helped Britishers. Now it has such big opportunity to display patriotism, which it should grab," he said.
