Govt staff contributes to Flood Relief Fund in J& K

A delegation of employees and staff of the Project Implementation Agency of Puducherry government today presented a cheque for Rs 52,218 to Chief Minister N Rangasamy as their one day wages to the Flood Relief Fund of Jammu and Kashmir.

Deputy Director of the Agency P Malathi alias Suryakala headed the team and handed the cheque.

The staff of the Agency are the first to make contributions to the fund for relief works in the flood ravaged Jammu and Kashmir.

Project Implementation Agency was set up by Puducherry government to address the housing and other infrastructure requirements of the tsunami hit villages in Puducherry and Karaikal regions.
