"The GJM has rejected Sen committee report which recommended only five our demand for 399 mouzas in the Terai and Dooars in the plains in the Gorkha Territorial Administration (GTA)," GJM General Secretary Roshan Giri told reporters today after a meeting with West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.

He said that the GJM had informed the state government that the Sen committee report was 'biased, one-sided and humiliating'.

Giri said that the state government decided to set up the 3-member Fact Certification Committee to go into report.

Asked if the Morcha would resort to fresh agitation in the Darjeeling hills, he said "we have not yet decided on it. We will report back to our President Bimal Gurung."

To another question about election to the GTA, he said "We did not come to discuss this issue. We came to register our protest against Sen committee report. We urged the state government to reject the Sen committee report."

The terms of references of the committee would be made known by the chief secretary, he said.
