Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das today the state government is working to change the lives of tribals, dalits, poor and the deprived and exploited people.
Addressing a function of the "Vanvashi Kalyan Kendra", Das said even after 70 years of freedom their tribal) development could not happen, adding the state government is working in changing their lives.
The chief minister said that the state is working a lot for the development of the poor, making efforts to lift them out of poverty line by connecting them with jobs. For this, they are being trained and connected with self-employment, he added.

The chief minister said that the government is working on the mantra of Prime Minister Narendra Modi --- "Together with all, Development for all".
He said the contribution of tribals remained at the forefront in preserving and maintaining the culture, according to a state government release.
He said the Rastriya Swayam Sevak Sangh also teaches that real development lay at the development of the person sitting at the last step, adding that great personalities like Swami Vivekananda and Pandit Deendayal Upadhaya had also stressed upon this.
Das said that the society should come forward to save religion, culture and language.
The chief minister said that Birsa Munda was not only a great man of the state but was great man of the entire country and sacrificed his life for giving freedom.
Among those who participated in the programme are - Vanvashi Kalyan Kendra's national organisational president Somya Julu and Kendra's Jharkhand unit president Dr H P Narayan.
