Power Minister Piyush Goyal is looking for a young and dynamic IAS officer, preferably with an engineering and management background, for appointment as his private secretary.
"Minister of State (Independent Charge), Power, Coal and Renewable Energy is looking to appoint a young and dynamic IAS or Group A central services officer as his private secretary.
"The ideal candidate will preferably have an engineering or management background. Experience in power sector is desirable but not essential," said a note put up on the website of the Department of Personnel and Training, seeking applications from eligible candidates.
Officers of the level of Director or Deputy Secretary to Government of India with "proven integrity" and track record may please send their CVs at piyush.Goyal@nic.In by August, 8, it said.
In a related development, the Centre has appointed Utsav Mitra, non-government official, as Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to the Power Minister.
