Gram dal price up

Gram dal went up, while urad dal and maida move down rest all other commodities ruled steady in the wholesale foodgrain market here today.

Gram dal rose sharply by Rs.1000 per quintal to Rs.11,500 from its previous rate of Rs.10,500.

Urad dal move down by Rs.500 per quintal to Rs.11,500 from 12,000 respectively.

Maida went down by Rs.100 per 90 kg to Rs.2,600 from its previous rate of Rs.2,700.

However, thoor dal,moong dal, sugar, wheat and sooji maintained the same level.

Following are the wholesale rates of various agri-commodities (rates in rupees per quintal, unless stated otherwise): Thoor Dal Rs 12,000, Urad Dal Rs 11,500, Moong Dal Rs 7,500, Gram Dal Rs 11,500, Sugar Rs 3,850, Wheat Rs 2,900, Maida (90 kg) Rs 2,600 and Sooji (90 kg) Rs 3,200.
