Gram and its dal prices advanced by up to Rs 200 per quintal at the wholesale pulses market today on the back of rising demand from retailers against tight supplies from producing regions.
However, other pulses traded in a tight range on some enquiries and pegged around previous levels.
Traders said rising demand from retailers in the face of paucity of stocks due to restricted supplies from producing belts mainly kept gram and its dal prices higher.
