Gram and its dal prices rose by Rs 100 per quintal at the wholesale pulses market today on speculative buying against paucity of stocks.

However, other pulses moved in a narrow range in limited deals and settled around previous levels.

Traders said speculative buying activity against tight stocks position on fall in supplies from producing regions mainly led to rise in gram and its dal prices.
