Prices of gram and kabli gram rose up to Rs 50 per quintal at the wholesale market today on scattered demand from retailers amid restricted arrivals from producing regions.
Marketmen said mild demand from retailers and a fall in arrivals from producing belts mainly led to the rise in gram and kabli gram small prices.
In the national capital, gram, gram dal local and best quality were up by Rs 50 each to Rs 2,800-3,700, Rs 3,600-3,800 and Rs 3,700-3,800 per quintal, respectively.
Kabli gram small variety was also seen in demand and gained Rs 25 at Rs 3,525-5,925 per quintal, respectively.
