Gram, kabuli gram rise on stockists buying

Barring a rise in gram and kabuli gram by upto Rs 200 per quintal at the at the wholesale pulses market today on emergence of stockists buying following uptick in demand.

Traders said stockists buying on the back of upsurge in demand amid restricted supplies from producing regions mainly pushed up gram and kabuli gram prices.

In the national capital, gram, gramdal local and best quality surged by Rs 200 each to Rs 5,600-5,800, Rs 6,500-6,800 and Rs 6,900-7,000 per quintal respectively.

Kabuli gram small variety also edged up by Rs 100 to Rs 8,900-9,400 per quintal.
