Gram and moong prices fell by up to Rs 220 per quintal at the wholesale pulses market today owing to slackened demand from retailers.
Marketmen said easing demand from retailers at prevailing levels against adequate stocks position mainly dragged down gram and moong prices.
In the national capital, gram slipped to Rs 4,600-5,100 from previous level of Rs 4,820-5,220 per quintal. Its dal local and best quality traded lower by Rs 200 each to Rs 4,820-5,120 and Rs 5,150-5,350 per quintal, respectively.
