Prices of gram and rajmah went up by Rs 50 per quintal at the wholesale pulses market today on increased from retailers against restricted supplies from producing belts.
However, commodity prices moved in a narrow range in limited deals and settled around previous levels.
Traders said some demand from retailers amdist limited supplies from producing regions mainly led to gain in gram and rajmah chitra prices.

Depreciating rupee against the dollar that made imports costlier also influenced the sentiment to some extent, they said.
In the national capital, gram, gramdal local and best quality were up by Rs 50 each to Rs 4,500-5,200, Rs 4,800-5,000 and Rs 4,900-5,200 per quintal respectively.
Rajmah chitra also rose by a similar margin to Rs 4,650-5,750 per quintal.
