Security forces on
Tuesday recovered a large cache of arms and ammunition during a search in a small jungle in Assam's Udalguri district, police said.
An AK-56 Rifle with magazine wit 12 live rounds of ammunition, a rocket launcher with five live rockets, 40 pieces of 36-HE grenades in dismantled condition, 111 detonators with wire were found buried in a mound a sand at No.1 Badagaon under Udalguri police station area.
Investigations are on, police said.
