Hit shows 'Grey's Anatomy', 'Scandal' and 'Revenge' are among the shows to be renewed by ABC for the 2014-15 season.

The network has also committed to a fourth season of 'Once Upon a Time', a seventh season of 'Castle' and a second run of midseason freshman 'Resurrection', reported Entertainment Weekly.

'Grey's Anatomy' was widely expected to return, following news that stars Ellen Pompeo, Patrick Dempsey, Justin Chambers, Sara Ramirez, Chandra Wilson and James Pickens Jr had signed deals to stay on for two more seasons.

Shonda Rhimes's other ABC series 'Scandal' has secured its fourth season.

Despite declining ratings, Emily VanCamp's 'Revenge' has been picked up for a fourth season, while Marvel's 'Agents of SHIELD' will get a second run and 'The Middle' will enter its sixth season.

'Modern Family' has also secured a sixth season on the network, but ABC is yet to confirm the future of 'Trophy Wife', 'The Neighbors', 'Suburgatory' and 'Nashville'.
